Even though Joel hasn't weighed in and he usually beats the crap out of these things. 1. Beck - Hotwax 2. Audioslave - Gasoline 3. Queens of the Stone Age - In the Fade 4. AC/DC - Let there be Rock 5. Interpol - PDA 6. The Shins - New Slang 7. Weezer - The Damage in Your Heart 8. Soundgarden - Spoonman 9. Reel Big Fish - Beer 10. Pedro the Lion - Simple Plan 11. Spoon - I Summon You 12. Warren G - Regulators I've been feeling really stuck lately, so I 've decided to try and write a song a month, thus combining my obsession with the guitar, desire to write stupid songs, and my need to do something creative. I've wanted to do this for a while, but I get frustrated and over-criticize myself before I start anything. So I'm just gonna write whatever I come up with. I think this'll be easier if I have sort of a topic, like an essay prompt or something. That said, I'm taking requests. People, give me a topic and I'll write a song about it. Does anyone have access to some posting space that I could use to post some stuff and link to it from the LJ?

! I missed a music quiz, I love those things. I can tell you that I wouldn't have been able to get numbers: 2, 11, and 12. 8 might have given me some trouble.
